Allowing customers to view updates on their tickets

Is it possible to add the functionality for my customers to view their tickets the way helpSpot allows me to view my open tickets. Please advise or point me in the right direction.

Customers can access their open requests via the customer portal. Customers can create a login and view all of their requests. You can see more details about this here https://support.helpspot.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=396.
