Archiving tickets/requests


im concerned that the trash deletes requests after 30 days. has anyone altered this time setting or created a place within helpspot to archive old requests.

yah never know when a client is going to come back and say, “no i didn’t say that.” its always important to have a record.

Definitely, in fact I absolutely don’t recommend using the trash for any real request ever. The trash should only be used for test requests, failed mail deliveries, and other such items which are not spam but also don’t need to be tracked by HelpSpot.

There’s no need to really archive the messages. Once they’re marked as closed they’re out of the queue and out of your way. You can always look them back up again though via a search or by using a filter to find the old requests.
