Auto responses

We have auto responses going out to all requests that come in but a few of our customers have asked us to stop sending these. Is there a way to stop the auto response from going out to a specific customer or email domain? Is it all or nothing?

Hi Kim,

What you can do is sort of the reverse. You can turn off auto responses. Then create a mail rule where the action is to send an instant reply to the customer if the conditions of “from” does not contain "abc@you.com".

Make it an ANY type condition set so that you can add more lines there for others who want to opt out.

The downside here is that the system treats this a bit different. And so where auto responses are not logged in the history sending them via a mail rule will log them, so that every request you get via email will have a public note added with your auto reply.
