Batch close request

When we’re trying to batch close several request, more than 13 at a time we’re just recieveing a white page, with status done in IE. Anyone having similar experience?

Running:
Helpspot: 2.4.7
W2k3, SP3, IIS6 (w FastCGI)
PHP 5.2.5, ZendOptimizer 3.3.0

max_execution_time = 120 ; Maximum execution time of each script, in seconds
max_input_time = 120 ; Maximum amount of time each script may spend parsing request data
;max_input_nesting_level = 64 ; Maximum input variable nesting level
memory_limit = 128M ; Maximum amount of memory a script may consume (128MB)

Hi Johnny,

The problem here is normally with your mail server. Batching can often lead to emails being generated for notifications and if your mail server is on the slow end it can slow down the process.

The other factor is the spam training system. If your system doesn’t require the built in spam filter or it’s already trained well you can turn it off in Admin->Settings->Email Integration (or to detect mode with no training) and that will also speed up the closing process.

Try that and see if it helps.
