Changing the Unassigned New Requests email



I am currently dealing with two separate installations of HelpSpot (complicated story). I receive notifications for unassigned requests coming from both installations, and I’d like to change the default notification subject to differentiate tickets. Currently, it is “HelpSpot: Unassigned Request Alert {#####}”. Can I change this somewhere in a template, or perhaps a DB field?



Hi Tom,

You can change that wording in the language file /helpspot/lang/english-us.php

Just search for the phrase and you’ll find it. Note that you’ll have to update these changes manually in new HelpSpot versions.
