Closing Requests From the Inbox

Does anyone have an idea how to can get helpspot to assign a request to a user if the close it from the inbox (aka if it is unassigned). Ideally this would be with a trigger rule, but with the available options I’m not able to do this.

This causes problems with trying to get accurate information on the number of requests closed by a person, if there is no way to sort on the ones they closed from the inbox (and therefore were not assigned to them)

Assigning to the person is the first soltuion i thought of, but if there is a way in reports to do this, i’m fine with that as well.

Well, they could first assign them to themselves as a batch and then close them. The triggers won’t be able to assign the person causing the action so I don’t think there will be a way to do it with them.
