Comparing to Zendesk


I know the below is very vague, but bear with me. We have a zendesk help desk that we are reasonably happy with, but we like to step back every once in a while and look at alternatives, and we haven’t done that in a while for our help desk software.

Is there a list somewhere of what you would consider your best features put up against Zendesk?

We don’t maintain such a list as it tends to be a constant vigil of us vs them in every random feature. There are a fair number of philosophical differences between the two systems. Zen is trying to be all things to all people, HelpSpot is more focused and less concerned with sheer numbers of features. HelpSpot provides you the option to host your help desk if you choose which is also useful in some cases.

HelpSpot is also a fair bit less expensive which doesn’t hurt.
