Create Custom Status


Is there a way in which I can create two new statuses? I am currently using “Problem Solved” as a trigger to send out a survey, which is working great, except for when people respond it reopens the ticket so closing it again, resends the survey. I would like to add two new statuses, one that says Close and Send Survey, and Close and do not Send Survey. This way, they won’t receive it twice.

Yep, that’s the right way to do it. And, yes you can! In Admin-Customize-Status Types.



I don’t see that listed as an option underneath my Admin>Customize menu. Am I using an out of date version?
