Creating multiple tickets from excel/csv file


I’m trying to set up a process for a customer to create a large number of tickets at once by using excel spreadsheets with the different request parameters in the columns. Is there a way to create multiple tickets using an excel/csv/txt file? I could set up something to loop through the file and call the API for each row, but I wasn’t sure if there was a better way to do this.
I found this old forum post from 2 years ago: Import Massive Requests but it wasn’t clear what the user ended up doing so I thought I’d ask (also because capabilities may have changed since 2017).


One way to handle this without writing your own integration is to use our Zapier integration linked up with google sheets. You can trigger an action whenever a row is added to a sheet to create a new request in HelpSpot.
