Custom Theming

When I attempt to make a custom theme, the nav bar at the top goes white.

I’ve tried copying>modifying>renaming existing CSS files, but have the same problem.

Here are my steps:
I copy green.css
made edits to the css
then put it into a new folder called /public_html/themes/sweetnewcolors
renamed it sweetnewcolors.css
loaded custom theme from the admin menu drop down.

Now my colors look good, but the nav bar background turned white. :frowning:

Hi Adam,

It sounds like you maybe actually used grey.css as the base and that has references to images/bg.png which will be missing in your new theme folder. You can copy the images/ folder from the grey as a starting point or define colors/gradients for those as green/blue do.
