Customize portal form



Right now I’m trying to add an additional field to my request portal for helpspot. Currently when people issue a request at they have to fill out name, email, phone, a few other fields, and type the message for their request. What would I have to do (in step by step instructions) to add another field (which would be an additional name to be accepted). This second name would then be taken as a different value by helpspot, and be shown in the inbox next to Customer ID.

I’m not entirely sure what you mean. If you’ve added custom fields for these you can display them in the workspace, but you can’t hook them together. So you can take a value from one and make it display information from the other.


That’s not currently possible. The widget is designed as a quick contact mechanism so it doesn’t include support for custom fields at this time.
