Customized reports



Is there any way to customize the existing reports. they are very limited in the information which can be exported into the spreadsheets. I’m thinking specifically management likes to see date opened and date closed.

One way to pull out that type of information is by using a filter for your reports. You can create filters in Workspace->Filter Requests. Filters are useful for lots of other things as well, but they’re great for reporting as well. Their results can be saved to Excel and all columns you add to the filter are exported.

If you want even more flexibility customers also work directly with the database. If you have programmers in house it’s easy to write queries against the HelpSpot database to pull out the information you need.
