Emjoi breaks email

Hello guys,

I am newbie here - but have used Helpspot for more than 5 years! I am running a selfhosted
v4.0.29 - but answers from my clients containg a emjoi fails to show.
In short I can see everything upto the clients inserting / useing a Emjoi, then the email breaks and no more information is showed.

Did anybody run into similiar problem?

Hi Ronny,
I would recommend upgrading to the latest version of HelpSpot there have been quite a few UTF8 fixes since that version. Also, if you are using MySQL check and make sure your database is using utf8_mb4 not just UTF8 for your character set. UTF8 does not support emoji.
