Extra character in New Request Email


We are using HS v3.16, when a new request is created via the portal a notification of the new request is sent via email, but the email contains an extra t as shown below which is not in he message and is not there when we look at the request in helpspot. I’ve checked the External Notes email template and this seems ok. HS is adding the HS URL and the extra t?




This is a bug in some email systems with strings longer than a certain length. They can become truncated like that. We’re looking at a fix for the next release.


Thanks for your reply Ian, I don’t think the issue is with the ##MESSAGE## being truncated, it’s more that the message is being prefixed with a t.


hmm, ok check your public notes to customers email template to make sure somebody wasn’t editing that and just added a t in there.
