Could having too many filters on in helpspot cause it to slow down?
Yes, John is right. Especially filters that do things like a full text data search. Those can be very slow and they need to be calculated for the counts on each page request (every time you and other staffers view the workspace or request page).
HelpSpot 2.6.3 caches the counts for 5 minutes by default pretty much removing this as a speed issue. The cache is also automatically cleared when a staff person actually views the request so the requests in the viewed filter are always real time.
