Helpspot for Change Control


Hello everyone,

I am a new user of Helpspot and recently joined an organization that utilizes it. Has anyone used Helpspot to track change requests? We utilize several different systems within our organization and as of right now changes can be made without any discussion or documentation.

In my previous organization, we used a helpdesk software to keep track of all requested changes and there were a few management users that could approve/deny them.

Is there anything similar in Helpspot?

I know of several organizations that are using HelpSpot in that way. HelpSpot doesn’t have a defined way of building that flow, instead each organization chooses their own setup based on their needs. Approval flows usually involve a combination of custom fields and triggers to move a change request through the proper steps.
