currently starting up a demo , trying to setup https

can anyone clarify “In addition be sure to edit the cURL variable in the config.php” ?

In my install using defaults its in the location C:\Program Files (x86)\helpspot\helpspot\helpspot

added to config.php ( taken from last bit of the guide in IIS: Use a custom domain (remove virtual directory))

define(‘cHOST’,‘https://helpdesk.domain.local:443/helpspot’);

along with the IIS bindings on 443 and URL rewrites

the pages load without CSS .

Any help would be appreciated .

Matt from support came back with

HelpSpot no longer has a config.php file. It now uses a .env file to control its base configuration. The .env file will be located in C:\Program Files (x86)\helpspot\helpspot. In that file look for the APP_URL variable. This is what you will want to change to https.

changing env file fixes the issue I had
