Inactive staff

Hi,

We have a support rota here, 2 people out of 20 man the support desk, and we change who it is on a fortnightly basis. As a cheapskate, I’d like to use only 2 licences rather than 20. So I imagined making only two people active at any one time.

Can you tell me what happens when you mark staff as “inactive”? Specifically, if they have requests assigned to them, what happens to those requests?

Hi Miles,

This should mostly work. When you make them inactive their open requests will be reassigned to the inbox so you might want to make sure you (with a filter) or they from their My Queue move the open requests to somebody else before closing.
