Link to a specific ticket in the iPhone interface


I’d like to add a link to our staff notifications that links directly to a specific ticket’s history under the iPhone interface. We can access the mobile interface directly, via a URL with parameters (PHP variables), but we’d prefer to access the ticket history with the iPhone UI.

It looks like most of the navigation is handled via JavaScript, but I wondered if there might be something I’m missing?

Hi Chris,

That’s not really possible in the prototype iPhone UI you’re currently using, however, HelpSpot 2.6 coming out very soon has a built in iPhone UI where this is possible. There’s even a placeholder for your email templates to the iPhone URL for a request (as well as the mobile URL).
