Live lookup setting a request's "Category"

I have a live lookup script working and sending customer information back in to helpspot; I would also like to be able to set the request category based on the live lookup, is this possible?




Hi Aidan,

No, that’s not currently possible. Only the customer values and custom fields. You could create a link that does it via javascript or responses can do it (of course those aren’t related to LL though).

For a future version request, I can see the value of this as we have customers that always fit into one category or another (but not both), so by adding the ability to set (or not set) the category would be nice.
