Required Fields Not Responding As Set In The Admin Interface

Under Custom Request Fields we have several options under a drill down list set as required, however the submit form is allowing the submission of tickets without these fields selected or required, any thoughts.

This turned out to be a category field that needed to be updated to be required, not drill down fields John. On Drill downs the field itself can be required, but any value will do. So they can just select the top level, but not add a deeper one if there as some uses cases that’s fine and the system wouldn’t know which way to go.

It would have to know which of each level is required. That’s probably possible, but it would get pretty complex so for now we haven’t added that.
